SBA - The US Small Business Administration assists small businesses in understanding their financial needs as well as the types of options that are available to help start and sustain a business. Learn about financial preparation, as well as options that range from traditional loans to bonds and investor-based venture capital. SBA loan guarantee programs – available through commercial lenders – make capital more accessible to the small business.
MD DBED – The Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development provides resources to help business owners access loans and guarantees.
MD DHCD – The Maryland Department and Housing and Community Development offers business loan programs to encourage local and state economic growth.
MARBIDCO - The Maryland Agriculture and Resource-Based Industry Development Corporation offers several low-interest loan and grant programs that are designed to leverage affordable rural business financing, assist with alternative or value-added enterprise development, and support the next generation of producers.
MSBDFA – The Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority supports socially or economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs in the creation of Maryland businesses. MSBDFA’s programs include financing options and surety bond assistance.
