The Town Council of the Town of Indian Head will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 2, 2020, at 6:00pm on the GoToMeeting platform in order to receive comments from residents in regards to proposed revisions to the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map. The public can view the Ordinance and map online at www.townofindianhead.org. Any resident who is unable to attend the virtual hearing who would like to submit comments can email them to annie@townofindianhead.org or drop them off at the Town Hall, located at 4195 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head, MD 20640 by no later than Monday, October 26, 2020. All comments will be read under the public comment portion of the public hearing agenda.

The Town Council authorized its engineer, ARRO Consulting, Inc., to develop a proposed Zoning Ordinance & Zoning Map revision. An electronic copy of the proposed Zoning Ordinance & Zoning Map revisions are available on the Town’s website, www.townofindianhead.org. The Town Council received a recommendation from the Planning Commission to approve/adopt the revised Zoning Ordinance & Zoning Map. A hearing to present the proposed Zoning Ordinance & Zoning Map revisions to the public, will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 6:00pm, prior to that evenings Town meeting on the GoToMeeting platform.
