State Champs Parade

Dear Charger Families,

Mayor Paulin and the Town of Indian Head has been gracious enough to host a parade for our STATE CHAMPION GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM! It will be on Saturday, May 6th. I have included the timeline for you i. I am hoping that you and your family will consider coming to support this tremendous accomplishment!

GENERAL TIMELINE

9:30a -10:30 am : Team, floats, and parade displays arrive at USBTA ( 4450 Indian Head HWY. ) parking lot for staging and organization

10:30-11:00 : Line up and parade organization

11am – 11:45: Parade commences, SB 210 from Dogwood st – Lackey Dr. Is temporarily blocked for parade activity.

– Parade will come to an “unloading zone” at the Gazebo
– Crowd will move to rear of pavilion (stage) for presentations and ceremony

12:00: Ceremony start time. All players and coaches will be recognized individually. Coach Barnes, Coach Lush, and Mrs. Perriello will give brief speeches.
