The Town of Indian Head will hold a General Election of the Town Council on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Village Green Pavilion, 100 Walter Thomas Road, Indian Head, MD. Polls will be open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  This election will give qualified registered voters residing within the Incorporated Town limits the opportunity to elect the three members of the Town Council to serve for the term of 2023 thru 2027.

FILING DEADLINE:

The deadline for filing a Certificate of Nomination is Monday, April 3, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at the Town Hall.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS:

1. Shall have resided in the Town for at least six (6) months immediately preceding their election.
2. Shall be qualified voters of the Town of Indian Head.
3. Shall maintain permanent residence in the Town during their term of office.
4. Must comply with the Town of Indian Head’s Code of Ethics.

CLOSING OF VOTER REGISTRATION BOOKS:

The Voter Registration Books for the Town of Indian Head will close Monday, April 3, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.
