For over a century and through many transitions, NSF Indian Head, its tenants, and the Town of Indian Head have steadfastly maintained a mutually beneficial partnership. 

This mutual dependency has encompassed employment opportunities for local citizens, joint use of recreational amenities, housing, food and many other services to benefit both communities.  The Town and Charles County both understand and appreciate the importance of this large government facility.
